Της Κυριακή 25 του μηνός ξαναζωντάνεψε Ο Αζωγυρές
Τα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης Ζωγραφικής που διοργάνωσε στον Αζωγυρέ η γνωστή καλλιτέχνιδα Gail Wareham , έγιναν αιτία το χωριό να ζήσει έστω και για λίγο παλιές δοξασμένες εποχές.
Στα εγκαίνια παρευρέθηκαν πλήθος κόσμου για να θαυμάσουν τους εξαίσιους πίνακες τις ταλαντούχας καλλιτέχνιδας , που έχουν πάντα θέμα το Όμορφο Νησί μας ,τους καλεσμένους περίμεναν ποικιλίες λιχουδιών και άφθονο ντόπιο κρασί καθώς διασκέδασαν με τους μουσικούς ρυθμούς του κιθαρίστα Jan Olesen .
Εκμεταλλευόμενη την ευκαιρία Ο Πρόεδρος του Πολιτιστικού Συλλόγου Αζωγυρέ ,εξουσιοδοτημένος από το ΔΣ Παρέδωσε Βραβείο στην Καλλιτέχνιδα για την προώθηση τις πολιτισμικής μας κληρονομίας και του τόπου μας , που χρόνια τώρα μέσω τον αμέτρητων έργον και εκθέσεων τις στο εξωτερικό έχουν γίνει αιτία να ενισχύετε η τοπική μας οικονομία .

Πέρασα ένα πολύ ωραίο απόγευμα με κάλους φίλους και τον αδελφό μου το Νικό , παρέα μας έκανε Ο Γνωστός κιθαρίστας του διάσημου συγκροτήματος Jalapeno Compadres . Ο όποιος μας έπαιξε αρκετά κομμάτια δικά του και μας διασκέδασε με όλη του την κάρδια .
We had an amazing afternoon with My brother Nikos Damianos and a surprise visit from Peter well known Guitarist from the famous band Jalapeno Compadres and his amazing wife Effie . He played amazing music that we all enjoyed thank you very much

The Artist and Azogires resident Claudia Boldura  has opened her very own Art Gallery in Palechora called( ART FLOWSTUDIO GALLERY ) , with many Art pieces inspired  from our surroundings, as well as Very fine Art work from other well known  artists . We wish her good start and loads of business .

Την 11-04- 2017, το Ο Προεδρος του ΡΚΣ. Αζωγυρές- Σελίνου κουκουτσάκης Ευτυχιος και ο αντιπρόεδρος Κουκουτσάκης Αντώνιος του 1ου Ροταριανού Κοινοτικού Σώματος εν Ελλάδι εις Αζωγυρέ Σελίνου, συνοδευόμενοι από τον πρόεδρο του Ροτ. Ομίλου Χανιών Κύριων Εμμανουήλ Δελάκη καθώς και την ροτ. Μαρία Τσαπάκη Κωτσιοπούλου, πρόεδρο της Επιτροπής Κοινοτικής Αλληλεγγύης του ροτ. Ομίλου Χανίων,αλλα και τον ροτ. Πελεκανάκη Γεώργιο, παρέδωσαν ποσότητα ρουχισμού , Στο Ψυχιατρικό Κέντρο Χανιών , ώστε να καλυφτούν η ανάγκες τον Ασθενών.
Και στην Συνέχεια παρέδωσαν ανάλογη ποσότητα ρουχισμού στο Δημοτικό Γηροκομείο Χανιών , ανταλλάχτηκαν ευχές για το Πάσχα μετά από μακράν συζήτηση για τις υλικές ανάγκες που έχουν και τα δυο Ιδρύματα, όπου δεσμευτήκαμε να βάλουμε τα δυνατά μας ώστε να βάλουμε τα δυνατά μας στο άμεσο μέλλον για να τις καλύψουμε .
Τα υλικά αυτά συγκεντρώθηκαν από τα μέλη και φίλους του Ροτ. Κοιν. Σώματος, , Κυρίως από την Γαλλία και την Αγγλία . με σκοπό να καλύψουν της ανάγκες τον ανωτέρων Ιδρυμάτων .Ευχόμαστε να πιάσουν τόπο , και να διευκολύνουν το δύσκολο έργο που επιτελούν

On Tuesday the 11 of April the president and the Vice President of the RCC Azogires Selino , Eftihis and Antonis Koukoutsakis ,Together with the President of the Rotary Club of Chania Mr Emmanuel Delakis and the president of the Committee of Social Support Mrs. Maria Tsapakis Kotsiopoulos , and the Rotarian Mr. George Pelekanakis . Visited and delivered Clothing for the needs of The Old peoples House of Chania, and also to the Psychiatric award of Chania .In hopes of aiding the sacred cause of both of these Organizations, we had long conversations about their other needs in order to continue to effectively function in the future, and we promised to do our best to aid them in their most difficult task. I would like to express a big thank you to all those who collected this clothing in order to make these two actions possible, their names are Κουκουτσάκης Αντώνιος, Νικόλαος Διαμαντάκης, Κωνσταντίνα Παντάλου, Michelle Clees,Cecile Jetz , Jean Marc Fistarol Meena Kwarkwal J .
